What You Will Be Working On
As a Records Management Intern with the Records Management Department (RMD), you will support the custodians of the Board’s official records. RMD ensures that information and decisions critical to CPF’s operations are properly captured, organised, and preserved. You will learn how records and information governance is evolving and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and organisational resilience.
You will be involved in:
1. Market Research
- Conduct research on global information governance and records management trends.
- Explore how emerging technologies can enhance, automate, or transform CPFB’s records management processes.
2. Policy Monitoring & Compliance
- Learn key public sector governance frameworks such as IM4L.
- Support monitoring and review efforts to strengthen compliance and improve internal records and information practices.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use data analytics to derive insights from organisational records.
- Create reports and visualisations to support decision-making and strategy formulation.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with internal stakeholders to promote good records management practices.
- Assist in developing communication materials and supporting outreach activities.
About You
We welcome interns with diverse experiences and interests. You do not need to meet every requirement, but having some familiarity in the following areas will help you succeed:
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration, Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with digital filing systems or records management software (good to have).
- Interested in information governance, records management, or related domains.
- Willingness to support process improvements and document workflows.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of information and repetitive tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
- Takes initiative and works proactively without needing constant supervision.
