About the Opportunity
As a Tax Intern at EY, you will support clients in managing their tax obligations responsibly and proactively. You’ll be part of a global network of 35,000 tax professionals across 150 countries, gaining exposure to tax planning, compliance, reporting, and data-driven improvements for tax functions. This role is suited for individuals aiming to understand tax regulations deeply while applying analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world business scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tax compliance services for clients
- Understand tax regulations and clients’ business requirements to solve tax-related challenges
- Analyze how tax rules apply to real-world transactions and different business scenarios
- Map tax logic to actual transaction data
- Study and assess data for variability, complexity, and behaviour
- Conduct data analysis and create visualizations to support tax analytics
- Assist in implementation or improvement of tax systems, software, and data processes
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Currently pursuing a Diploma in Accountancy (or related qualification)
- Strong time management skills and ability to adapt under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- Interest or experience in tax, data management, or business processes (through school projects, internships, self-study, competitions, etc.)
- Analytical thinking and comfort working with data
