Overview
Join Tencent's Overseas IT team in Singapore as an AI IT Engineer Intern, where you will blend cutting-edge AI application development with hands-on enterprise IT operations. You will support our global IT infrastructure while contributing to the build and integration of intelligent internal tools, such as AI-powered knowledge systems and automation workflows. Key Responsibilities
· Provide hands-on support for office IT infrastructure, including end-user devices, networking, and AV systems.
· Assist in the development of internal AI applications, focusing on RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems.
· Support the integration of enterprise APIs to automate IT workflows and data synchronization.
· Help maintain local IT assets and coordinate with global teams on system upgrades and rollouts.
· Contribute to data processing and embedding pipelines for IT knowledge graphs and configuration management databases (CMDB).
· Participate in the testing and deployment of internal platforms using CI/CD practices.
· Support IT service management processes, including onboarding, access management, and procurement.
Requirements
· Currently an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, AI, or a related technical field.
· Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
· A basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control with Git.
· Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to work across both support and development tasks.
· Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to collaborate effectively with cross-border teams.
· Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., Next.js) or AI concepts (e.g., RAG) is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
