Overview
Shopee’s Network Development and Reliability Engineering (NDRE) team is seeking interns in Singapore to help maintain and optimize the company’s network infrastructure. You’ll work on monitoring, fault detection, and automation to ensure the stability and reliability of Shopee and Monee’s backbone and data center networks. This role offers hands-on experience in network engineering, software development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Shopee and Monee’s backbone and data center networks for faults and performance issues
- Quickly detect, notify, and resolve network problems to maintain application stability
- Propose and implement improvements and optimizations for network architecture
- Refine processes to enhance visibility and management of network infrastructure
- Collect and maintain databases of network devices, links, and configurations
- Set up automated alerts and notifications for network events using software tools
- Collaborate with the team to identify solutions and implement best practices
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong coding and programming skills; experience with Go, Python, or C preferred
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OS, networks, databases, software architecture)
- Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities
- Passionate about coding, innovation, and tackling technical challenges
