Overview
This internship places you within ByteDance’s data platform team supporting a large-scale internal A/B testing system used across multiple products. As an intern, you will help turn product and business ideas into working data-driven applications while gaining hands-on experience in building and improving real production systems used company-wide.

Key Responsibilities
- Convert product and experimentation needs into technical solutions that can be implemented and scaled
- Develop and improve data-related applications that support A/B testing workflows
- Help maintain and enhance existing data systems to ensure stability and accuracy
- Support system updates, releases, and improvements with minimal disruption
- Work with teammates to optimise internal tools used across multiple business teams
- Assist in improving experimentation efficiency through better system design
- Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and system deployment
Requirements
- Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical course
- Comfortable with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL
- Willingness to learn new systems and business concepts quickly
- Able to work well with others and communicate ideas clearly
- Prior tech internship experience is helpful but not required
