The Messaging team at TikTok focuses on building tools that enhance meaningful user connections through TikTok’s messaging experience. This team plays a pivotal role in designing and shipping features that help users communicate and share what matters to them.
Internship Overview
This is a 2026 internship aimed at final-year students or recent graduates in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines. Candidates can apply for a maximum of two positions within TikTok and its affiliates, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interns will gain hands-on experience building mobile app features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to high-quality production code.
Key Responsibilities

- Optimize TikTok applications on Android platforms.

Qualifications
