Position: Head / Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations

Klook, Asia’s leading travel and experiences platform, is seeking a strategic leader to drive marketing planning, strategy, and operations. This role focuses on connecting business goals, marketing performance, and operational excellence while leading a team of analysts and operations specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor analysts and operations coordinators to deliver high-impact planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strategic Planning: Drive annual and quarterly marketing planning cycles; translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps.
- Budget & Investment: Build demand forecasts and investment models; oversee budget allocation, resourcing, and operational efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to align strategy and solve structural challenges.
- Integrated Marketing: Champion strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels; ensure synergy across campaigns.
- Process & Innovation: Elevate ways of working through frameworks, onboarding programs, AI tools, and productivity initiatives.
- Data-driven Culture: Promote actionable insights, retrospectives, continuous improvement, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years in marketing strategy, business operations, or consulting.
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams (analysts, ops, or strategy roles).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
- Deep understanding of marketing funnels, CAC, GMV, ROI, and performance metrics.
- Advanced analytical skills: SQL, BigQuery, Excel, Tableau/Looker, or similar tools.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop scalable solutions.
- Fluent in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
- Industry experience in e-commerce, tech, or high-growth consumer brands preferred.
