Overview

This role sits within OpenAI’s Communications and Community team and focuses on building meaningful connections with users across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, you’ll lead initiatives that help students and other key user groups understand, adopt, and creatively apply ChatGPT in real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Launch and grow student-focused community programmes across selected APAC markets.
Identify real user use cases and transform them into clear, shareable stories.
Work with internal teams to distribute community insights through social, web, and launches.
Build relationships with students, educators, and local partners to surface meaningful feedback.
Support the hiring, onboarding, and coordination of regional community contributors.
Ensure community insights inform broader communication and product strategies.
Track engagement outcomes to refine and improve programmes over time.

Requirements

Background in communications, marketing, media, or community-related work.
Strong interest in technology and how people use digital tools.
Confident writing and editing skills for broad, public audiences.
Comfortable working with diverse cultures and stakeholders.
Able to manage multiple initiatives independently.
Prior experience with community or user programmes is an advantage.
