Overview

TikTok’s Search team is offering a Frontend Engineering Internship for students who want to help build search experiences used by millions of users worldwide. You’ll work on the Search Cloud Platform, contributing to real frontend systems while learning how large-scale products balance performance, usability, and reliability.

Help identify and resolve frontend performance or reliability issues
Participate in technical discussions and system design reviews
Continuously refine frontend solutions based on product and user needs

Requirements

Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in a computing-related field
Comfortable with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiar with at least one frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
Curious about how large-scale web products are built
Able to work well in a team and communicate ideas clearly
Available for a minimum 3-month internship during the stated periods
