Overview
OCBC Bank, Singapore’s longest-standing financial institution, is seeking Data Science and AI interns to join the Group Data Office. In this role, you will explore large volumes of structured and unstructured data, transforming real business challenges into AI and machine learning solutions. You will gain hands-on exposure to generative AI, reinforcement learning, and model deployment while collaborating with business and technology teams to drive tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions

- Apply MLOps tools to maintain accuracy and stability of live models
- Analyze large datasets using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Trino
- Document model design, code, and usage clearly for internal stakeholders
- Contribute to AI initiatives including conversational bots, content generation, and agentic AI
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and basic software engineering principles
- Interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven problem solving
- Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams
- Curious, self-driven, and eager to explore emerging AI technologies
- Fresh graduates welcome
