Overview

The Technology & Systems Integration team works on product acoustics, fluid dynamics, structural, thermal performance, and other engineering challenges, delivering inventive solutions globally.
Role: Acoustics & Product Performance Intern
Key Responsibilities
- Support research and development across various Dyson products to optimize acoustics performance.
- Test, simulate, and evaluate prototypes against acoustics requirements.
- Conceptualize, develop, and propose design changes to improve performance.
- Create analytic tools and models to streamline analysis and solve technical problems.
- Develop and refine test methods to verify product performance.
- Apply a systems engineering approach to gather, analyze, and act on technical data.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical experts across RDD.
Key Requirements
- Currently studying Mechanical, Aerospace, Acoustics, Material Engineering, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to tackle engineering challenges.
- Familiarity with tools and methods for characterizing structural performance.
- Experience with CAD, CAE, or statistical analysis tools.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work independently or in a team.
