Overview
Siemens Mobility Singapore is offering an Engineering Internship focused on rail infrastructure projects. This role provides exposure to communications engineering, project management, and on-site activities for the renewal and refurbishment of existing rail systems. Interns will gain hands-on experience coordinating installation, commissioning, and testing tasks while working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support communications engineering tasks focused on renewing and refurbishing rail systems
- Coordinate with SWCs/Operators and conduct planned job activities
- Prepare test documents, write-up reports, and PTW (Permit to Work) forms for assigned tasks
- Assist in site supervision activities for installation and commissioning works
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (railway stations)
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess a valid Student Pass in Singapore or meet Ministry of Manpower Work Holiday Pass (WHP) requirements
