Overview
TikTok’s Engineering Test Team is seeking interns to contribute to the quality assurance and testing of TikTok products. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in ensuring high-quality product delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and exploring innovative technical solutions to improve product quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the quality assurance of TikTok products.
- Actively participate in the product development lifecycle and coordinate with multiple roles to deliver high-quality features.
- Improve product quality through technical approaches such as tool/platform development, automated testing, and performance testing.
- Research and apply emerging technologies to enhance business and product quality.
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Strong passion for computer science, internet technology, and software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or PHP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective team communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior internship or experience in quality assurance is a plus.
Internship Details
- Duration: Minimum 3 months.
- Options: January–June or May–August (Summer).
- Location: TikTok Singapore (with potential exposure to global teams).
- Exposure to hands-on QA processes, automated testing, performance testing, and technology research within a leading global tech company.
