Temus, founded by Temasek in partnership with UST, is a fast-growing digital transformation company supporting both public and private sectors. With more than 400 professionals across strategy, design, architecture, tech, data, and AI, Temus plays a key role in advancing Singapore’s Smart Nation ambitions.
As a Public Affairs Intern, you will work directly with the Public Affairs Lead and senior leadership to shape how Temus presents itself to stakeholders. This internship offers hands-on exposure to strategic communications, content creation, corporate messaging, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs work. You will gain real experience—not just observation—as you help craft narratives and build Temus’ presence within Singapore’s digital transformation ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Communications – Internal & External
- Support story development by writing and refining content for internal newsletters, town halls, and company-wide updates.
- Help develop executive communications, including speeches, LinkedIn posts, talking points, and interview briefs.
- Create content for external channels such as press releases, social media posts, and partnership announcements.
- Collaborate across departments to uncover stories and translate them into engaging communications.
- Contribute to copywriting and basic design for various communications materials.
- Assist with media relations, including monitoring coverage and tracking public sentiment.
Public Affairs
- Support stakeholder mapping and help plan meaningful engagement strategies.
- Research policy developments, industry trends, and ecosystem shifts to keep the team informed.
- Assist in communications related to partnerships and engagements with government stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing studies in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with a knack for crafting messages that resonate and attention to detail.
- Awareness of Singapore’s tech landscape or public sector environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with media relations or corporate communications, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
- Strong research skills, able to connect insights and trends meaningfully.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
