Overview
The FasTrack Internship Programme is designed to immerse accounting undergraduates in the future of external audit. Interns gain hands-on exposure to Deloitte’s global auditing platforms and work closely with engagement teams across various industries. This programme blends academic knowledge with practical experience, building technical depth, analytical capability, and a forward-looking audit mindset.
Successful interns may receive priority consideration for a full-time Associate (Year 2) role after graduation—making this a fast-start pathway into the profession.
What You Will Do
During the 30-week structured internship, you will:
Hands-On Audit Experience
- Work directly with client engagement teams to execute audit procedures and assurance testing.
- Apply professional judgement and adopt risk-based approaches as part of audit fieldwork.
Exposure to Deloitte’s Global Audit Tools
- Use Deloitte’s cloud-based platforms (e.g., Omnia, Levvia) to perform audit tasks efficiently.
- Participate in digital audit transformation by leveraging automation and cognitive tools.
Real-World Industry Insight
- Support audits across a spectrum of industries, learning how different businesses operate.
- Gain proficiency in documentation, sampling, controls testing, and analytical procedures.

Requirements
Deloitte is seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- Current enrolment in an Accountancy undergraduate programme.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in external audit.
- Good analytical ability, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Pursuing the Singapore CA Qualification is advantageous.
- Ability to commit to 30 cumulative weeks, completed as:
- one continuous 30-week internship, or
- two separate periods (e.g., 10 + 20 weeks, or 15 + 15 weeks)
Propel Programme (For Eligible Candidates)
If you previously completed an external audit internship with Deloitte during your diploma studies, you may qualify for the Propel track, requiring:
- 20 cumulative weeks (completed as 20 weeks or 10 + 10 weeks)
