Overview
This internship places you within HDB’s Marketing Communications & Research Department, part of the Strategic Communications & Engagement Group (SCEG). You will gain firsthand experience in how Singapore’s public housing policies are communicated to citizens, and how outreach strategies are designed, executed, and refined to support national objectives.
What You’ll Be Involved In
Throughout your internship, you’ll learn how HDB communicates complex policies to diverse audiences through research-backed messaging and integrated campaigns. You will contribute to projects that help explain initiatives supporting first-time home buyers and other public housing schemes.
You’ll be exposed to the full communications workflow—from audience insights to content creation to performance evaluation—while supporting multi-channel campaigns across print, digital, outdoor and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Content Development
- Assist in brainstorming and shaping creative concepts for marketing campaigns.
- Draft social media copy, email newsletters, and other public-facing content.
- Design simple assets like infographics, static visuals or digital ads.
- Ideate concepts for short-form videos used in public communications.
Production & Execution
- Support preparations for photoshoots or video shoots.
- Participate in on-site production activities when required.
- Coordinate minor logistics tied to campaign rollouts.
Research & Insights
- Learn how audience segmentation, media analytics, and research findings guide campaign planning.
- Contribute to reviewing platform performance and identifying areas for optimisation.
