Overview
This internship offers an immersive opportunity to be part of a busy events department responsible for organising more than 20 educational and community events throughout the year. You’ll work closely with the Events Manager to bring concepts to life—from planning and logistics to on-site execution—while supporting communications and creative content efforts that shape the school’s public image.

Key Responsibilities
Event Design & Planning
- Assist in brainstorming creative event concepts and themes
- Coordinate room bookings both on- and off-campus
- Research and select caterers, suppliers, and equipment providers
- Source service partners for sound, lighting, décor, and guest speakers
- Identify potential sponsors and external collaborators
- Help maintain a database of experts, performers, and speakers
Event Preparation & Execution
- Organise operational briefings for maintenance, catering, AV, and security teams
- Set up signage and ensure all digital content is displayed correctly
- Assist with installation of event sets and equipment on event day
- Coordinate vendor arrivals and check that all safety procedures are followed
Event Communications
- Support the creation of posters, invitation materials, and promotional content
- Monitor RSVPs, send reminders, and manage guest communications
- Assist volunteers and student helpers involved in event operations
- Capture photos, videos, and help prepare social media and website coverage
Equipment Management
- Track inventory of event equipment and ensure timely maintenance
- Plan equipment usage based on upcoming event needs
Post-Event Support
- Gather feedback from teams, attendees, and partners
- Prepare post-event reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital design tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working to tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or interest in project management is a bonus
- Independent, responsible, and proactive
- French native speaker with strong proficiency in English (required)

- Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week
- Leave: 1.5 days per month
- Location: On-site, Singapore
- Visa: Applicant must apply for the Work Holiday Programme (WHP) issued by MOM (up to 6 months validity)
