Overview

Key Responsibilities
Intern roles will vary depending on placement. Opportunities are available in multiple departments:
Line Management
- Support pricing strategies and cargo flow planning
- Analyse route performance and evaluate potential new trade lanes
- Assist with network design and service optimisation
Logistics
- Plan and coordinate container equipment distribution
- Support procurement of depot and trucking services
- Review business processes and prepare cost and performance reports
Operations & Procurement
- Assist with stowage planning and vessel scheduling
- Track port operations and special cargo arrangements
- Support port and terminal procurement activities and cost analyses
Group Commercial & Agency Management
- Monitor regional agency performance and support improvement initiatives
- Perform feasibility studies on new business opportunities
- Support global sales efforts and customer engagement projects
Fleet
- Assist in sea crew scheduling and talent pipeline planning
- Support procurement of marine supplies and contract reviews
Corporate Functions
Finance: Assist with accounting, budgeting, treasury, or risk-related tasks
IT: Support digitalisation projects, user requirements, or application development
Human Resources: Contribute to talent acquisition, rewards planning, learning & development, and more
Requirements
