Overview
Join Grasshopper in Singapore as an Off-Cycle Software Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience in quantitative trading technology. Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and extend the exchange simulator platform to support additional exchange protocols.
- Write robust C++ code following test-driven development practices.
- Navigate and contribute to a complex, production-level codebase.
- Collaborate with engineers, quants, and traders to solve real-world trading problems.
- Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Propose solutions and take ownership of assigned project components.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or graduated from a Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics program (Class of 2025/early 2026).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in C++ and understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Comfortable working on Linux systems.
- Able to commit full-time for at least 3 months; immediate availability is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
