As a Tax & Legal Intern, you’ll support consultants who help companies navigate customs rules, trade agreements, supply chain regulations, and cross-border compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants in analysing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility and tariff impacts
- Assist in classifying products using HS codes and preparing valuation or documentation reviews
- Conduct research on customs policies, WTO/WCO rules, and regulatory updates
- Help review client supply chains to identify compliance risks or optimisation opportunities
- Prepare supporting materials for trade disputes, restructuring projects, or advisory engagements
- Participate in implementing trade compliance solutions, including process mapping and change support
- Work with teams on ESG-linked trade topics such as carbon taxes and producer responsibility schemes
- Contribute to project coordination, note-taking, and preparing client-ready summaries
Requirements
- Studying international trade, economics, law, finance, supply chain, or a related field
- Comfortable researching regulations and breaking down complex information
- Good communicator who can write clearly and explain findings
- Able to manage deadlines and stay organised across multiple tasks
- Curious about global markets, cross-border business, and policy impact
- Open to learning new tools and analytical methods
